Annecy & The Brookes

I’ve been pretty busy recently and BUT MILK IS IMPORTANT is still crusading across Europe!  In June it’s playing at Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France.  It’s one of four festivals in the world to be funded by the International Animated Film Association which makes it really prestigious and makes me really proud to have worked with such badasses as Eirik Grønmo Bjørnsen and Anna Mantzaris. Last month it just so happened to receive two awards at the Athens Animfest 2013!  The award jury had this to say,

“A beautifully made stop motion animation film about a man suffering from a social phobia and his quest for … milk.  A smart script with a taste of black humour and an interesting ending. Amazing facial expressions on the puppet.”

I met my wife Leanne through music and our love for one another is one of few things greater than this passion of ours.  So naturally we’re in a band together called The Brookes.  We write honestly about our lives and all of the success and failures that have shaped them. Come and get your 21st century on and like/follow/stalk us on the googles.
